After a long break Cameron is back with his new version of the podcast. He is still reviewing mostly indie fantasy novels but he’s now doing it in his tractor. Cameron spends way too much time in said tractor and figured that since he was listening to a lot of audiobooks but had almost zero time to record episodes with his wife and friends like he used to he would put some of that tractor time to use and record podcast episodes again.

28 - 3 Body Problem
Monday Jan 01, 2018
Monday Jan 01, 2018
In this first episode of the year we have a special 4 person episode! Cameron is joined by Chris, Barry, and a new guest Erick. Erick is another fraternity brother from college and has been a big fantasy fan since high school when he picked up The Wheel of Time series just as Chris and Cameron did. The 3 of them had many discussions about the books in college, this time there was a lot less alcohol involved than back then as we discussed the book. There will be some screaming children in the background occasionally since there were miltiple young kids in the house, I hope it's not too disctracting.

27 - End of Year Episode
Monday Dec 25, 2017
Monday Dec 25, 2017
I apologize for the length of this episode and it's lack of polish, I have had a very busy week and didn't have the usual time. We were unable to get everyone together at the same time so we have 3 separate short interviews with my buddies who rotate in with me. The bulk of the episode is a fun call Katie and Cam had with Dani and Greg of the podcast, Book Geeks Uncompromised. We talk our favorite books of the year. I hope everyone has a happy holiday season!

Since there is a little disagreement about this novel Cameron is clearly correct and Casey is clearly wrong since Cameron is the one writing this! KotW is Eames' debut novel and was published this year by Orbit. It clocks in at 502 pages.

24 - The Dragon's Legacy
Sunday Dec 03, 2017
Sunday Dec 03, 2017
On this episode Katie and I take the unusual tactic of insulting quite a few people who left negative reviews on Goodreads... In our defence they clearly didn't bother to read the synopsis so what are ya gonna do? This is the debut novel for Deborah Wolf and the first book in the Dragon's Legacy series, it was published this year and clocks in at 486 hardcover pages long. It is written in the style of an epic fantasy.
